Comparing changes since the last approval

When you send a post back for another look, reviewers want to know what changed. The comparison view summarises exactly that.

Where to find it

Open the post in the block editor and look at the Changes since last approval section of the Editant sidebar. It updates automatically as you save, when a reviewer records an approval, and when you accept a suggestion.

What it shows

The view compares the current draft with the version a reviewer last approved. It lists the blocks that changed, highlighting inserted and deleted words within each one. Until a reviewer has approved the post at least once there is nothing to compare against, and the section says so.
