Managing your subscription

Editant Pro is sold as an annual subscription through Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record. Your purchase, renewals, invoices and plan live in the customer portal, not in WordPress.

The customer portal

Go to account.editantapp.com/billing and enter the email address you bought with. Lemon Squeezy emails you a sign-in link; clicking it opens the portal, which shows your orders and invoices, your licence key and the Pro download, the payment method on file, and the renewal date.

Trial, renewal and cancelling

Every new subscription starts with a seven-day free trial; the first charge is taken when the trial ends. Subscriptions then renew once a year, and you receive a renewal notice by email before the charge. Cancel at any time from the portal: Pro keeps working until the end of the period you have paid for, and no further charge is taken. The 14-day money-back guarantee on your first purchase is described in the refund policy.

Changing how many sites you cover

Solo covers one site, Studio five to thirty, and Network an unlimited number. Change plan from the portal when you need more, or fewer, sites. The change is prorated, your licence key stays the same, and the number of sites it can be active on updates on its own, so there is nothing to re-enter in WordPress. See Activating your licence and updates for moving the key between sites.

When a subscription ends

Once a subscription lapses or a purchase is refunded, the licence key stops validating. Editant Pro’s features switch off on every site the key was active on and updates stop, but nothing is deleted: comments, decisions, the audit log and your settings remain in the database, and the free Editant plugin keeps working. Renew, and everything resumes where it left off.
