Branding and editing notification emails

Editant Pro can brand the emails Editant sends and let you rewrite their wording, so notifications match your organisation rather than the plain defaults.

Branding

The branding you set for the reviewer page (brand name, logo, accent colour, footer) is also applied to every notification email, wrapping each one in a branded, email-safe shell sent from your branded address. No extra setup is needed. If you leave the branding blank, emails fall back to the plain default. See White-labelling the reviewer page.

Editing the templates

On Editant → White-labelling, scroll to Notification emails. Each of the seven emails has its own panel: New comment notification, Decision notification, Reply notification, Re-review request, Reviewer invitation, Attestation digest, and Deadline reminder.

To change one, tick Override this email and edit its Subject and Body. Leave a field blank to keep the default for that field. An overridden badge marks the emails you have customised.

The Reviewer invitation works slightly differently: its subject and body are filled into the Invite a reviewer panel each time you invite someone, where you can adjust them for that one send before it goes out.

Tokens

Each panel lists the Tokens you can drop into the subject or body, such as the post title or the reviewer’s name. Editant substitutes them with real values when the email is sent.

Preview and test

Preview (saved) shows the saved version of an email, and Send test to me sends it to your account’s email address so you can check it end to end.
