Personal data export

Editant integrates with WordPress’s core privacy tools for GDPR data export requests.

Request flow

An admin goes to Tools → Export Personal Data, enters the data subject’s email, and creates a request. The request is confirmed via email to the data subject. The admin then generates the export.

What Editant contributes

• Reviewer records matching the email
• Comments authored by that reviewer
• Decisions recorded by that reviewer

The output is a downloadable ZIP containing JSON and HTML files of the data. System fields (internal IDs, hashed tokens) are not exported because they aren’t personal data.
