Publish quorum and approval gating

Quorum lets you require a set number of reviewer approvals before a post can be published.

Setting the requirement

Set the site-wide default at Editant → Quorum (Default approvals required). To override it for one post, open the Publish quorum section of the Editant editor sidebar and choose a number for that post. The section shows live progress, for example “2 of 3 approvals”.

What happens at publish

If you try to publish a post before it has enough approvals, WordPress returns it to Pending and shows a notice explaining the shortfall. Once the required approvals are recorded, the post publishes normally. Only posts that have at least one review link are gated.

Publishing anyway

An administrator can publish a post even if quorum is not met. The override is recorded in the audit log so the decision is accountable.
