A reviewer is blocked from a protected link

If a reviewer cannot get past a protected link, the cause is almost always one of the Editant Pro access controls on that link.

Check the access settings

In the editor sidebar, open the Access tab, find the link under Links, and expand its Access control to review:

• Password: the reviewer needs the exact password. Re-share it, or clear it to remove the requirement.
• IP allow-list: only listed addresses are allowed, and the link fails closed if the visitor’s address cannot be determined. Add the reviewer’s address or clear the list.
• View once / Maximum views: once the limit is reached, new sessions are blocked. Raise the limit or issue a fresh link.
• Absolute expiry: if the cut-off has passed, the link is closed. Extend it or generate a new link.

A reviewer blocked by any of these sees a neutral “This link is restricted” message; the specifics are only visible to you in the link’s settings.
