Setting permalinks

For review links to work, WordPress needs pretty permalinks enabled. The default “Plain” permalink setting will not work.

Check the setting

Go to Settings → Permalinks. Choose any option other than “Plain”. “Post name” is the standard choice.

If links still 404 after activation

Visit Settings → Permalinks and click Save Changes (no other changes needed). This refreshes WordPress’s rewrite rules. If links still return 404 after that, deactivate Editant and reactivate it.
